Developing a Character Workshop
Suggested Duration: 2 hours
Suitable for: 16+ (A-Level Drama and Theatre Studies, Performing Arts Students, Drama School and Theatre School Students, University Students, Adult Acting Students).
Explore techniques to develop a character; from text, from movement and from the inner emotional life of the character. In this workshop you’ll approach character development from three different perspectives, using a range of techniques for each method. Culminates in a presentation to fellow students.
Voice & Speech
Voice & Speech Workshop
Suggested Duration: 2 hours
Suitable for: 16+ (A-Level Drama and Theatre Studies, Performing Arts Students, Drama School and Theatre School Students, University Students, Adult Acting Students).
This workshop covers the fundamentals of a comprehensive voice and speech warm up. Learn how to safely and effectively warm your voice, beginning with the body, breath and speech muscles and moving onto sound. In the 2nd half of this workshop, you’ll work with text to explore speech exercises that can help you communicate the meaning and emotion contained in a speech or dialogue.

Improvisation Workshop

Suitable for: 16+ (A-Level Drama and Theatre Studies, Performing Arts Students, Drama School and Theatre School Students, University Students, Adult Acting Students).
Learn the basic foundations and techniques of improvisation in this interactive workshop that culminates in a traditional show where suggestions from the audience create theatre before your very eyes!
